What it does: Manages premium subscriptions and validates purchases

Data collected: User ID, subscription status, purchase receipts (handled by Apple/Google)

Important: We never see your payment information (credit cards, etc.). Apple and Google process all payments.

📊 PostHog (Analytics)

What it does: Collects anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the app

Data collected: Anonymous user ID, app interactions, feature usage, device type, session data

NOT collected: No personal information (email, name, etc.) is shared with PostHog

Tracking: NO - PostHog uses an anonymous ID that is not linked to your identity or used for advertising

📺 Google AdMob (Advertising - Free Users Only)

What it does: Displays banner and interstitial ads to free users

Data collected: Device advertising identifier (IDFA), ad impressions, ad interactions, approximate location (for regional ads), device type and OS

Tracking: YES - AdMob uses your advertising identifier to show personalized ads based on your interests

Premium users: Never see ads, and AdMob is completely disabled

📝 Contentful (Content Delivery)

What it does: Delivers project content (images, descriptions, metadata)

Data collected: Content request logs (IP address, timestamp) - standard web server logs

No personal data: Contentful only delivers public content and doesn't collect user-specific information

🔔 Expo Push Notifications

What it does: Sends daily project notifications to users who opt in

Data collected: Push notification tokens (device identifiers for notifications), user ID, notification preferences

App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

We use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to request permission before tracking you across apps and websites. When you see the ATT prompt, we're asking permission to:
